Privacy by Design (PbD) has gone from a recommended best practice framework to a legal requirement, enshrined within Article 25 of the GDPR. Based on the premise that Privacy should be the “default” experience, the framework is made up of 7 foundational steps, focused on inserting privacy and data protection into each stage of the development process.
