B2B Growth Podcast: 3 Ways to Manage Your Digital Hygiene

With statistics like this - content marketing costs 62% less than traditional marketing and generates about 3 times as many leads. (Source:DemandMetric) – it’s no wonder most marketers are being pressured to churn out content full-bore.

With a staggering glut of blog posts, white papers, ebooks, infographics, webinars and more being published with constancy, it’s no surprise that the next frontier of WCM is quality management. The only surprise is that this vital step wasn’t detected by most marketers’ radar until recently.

As our CTO, Adrian Newby points out during the B2B Growth Podcast episode “3 Ways to Manage Your Digital Hygiene,” the concept of Digital Quality Management (DQM) is still an emerging term in the industry and is just beginning to attract mainstream attention.

Compound the volume of content being produced with the number of channels it’s being pushed out to, and it becomes obvious why manually keeping up with any reliable measure of quality assurance is error-prone, if it’s even possible at all.

But when neglected, all too often costly mistakes are made that can cause irreparable brand damage such as compliance risks, broken links, misspellings, information that’s out-of-date or off-brand, and content that isn’t optimized for the search engines.

It’s a long game to deliver high-quality content in a consistent voice, with the same branded look and feel every single time. It requires dedication and discipline, and there’s often no immediate ROI.

In this podcast, Adrian discusses the growing value of a digital quality management program and the three key areas that warrant attention, including brand integrity, SEO and regulatory.
