Proud to be Recognized in the New Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management

We’re excited to be included in the new 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management, which was released today.

The Magic Quadrant compares vendors based on a set of standard criteria and methodology, to provide an overview of the leading solutions in an industry.

Although the Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management is far from an endorsement of any vendor, it’s a valuable starting point for companies researching WCMs and hearing one of the leading analyst firm’s perspective on their strengths and weaknesses.

The latest report positions Crownpeak as a Visionary, noting our strengths in SaaS, cybersecurity and Digital Quality Management.

While there are other web content management systems that are available via the cloud, most of them aren’t SaaS. They’re on-premise solutions deployed via the cloud. So, they don’t offer the benefits SaaS is known for, such as speed-to-market, lower total cost of ownership, and automatic non-intrusive updates.

Also, highlighted in the report are our cybersecurity capabilities, thanks in part to our Advanced Web Hosting service, a new security product we released earlier this year. The offering provides aggregated multi-layered protections that extend all the way into the application layer and feature real-time analytics and intelligence to detect and act on perceived cyberthreats, including crippling DDoS attacks.

While we’re proud of our SaaS expertise and unparalleled cybersecurity, what truly sets Crownpeak apart from the other vendors in the latest Magic Quadrant is our integrated Digital Quality Management platform, which helps companies deliver more effective, accurate and discoverable content.

By monitoring an organization’s websites for errors in the areas of accessibility, SEO, brand, and regulatory compliance, it takes digital experience management to a new level. The automated solution is built directly into our Digital Experience Management (or WCM) platform and includes a set of out-of-the box checkpoints as well as the opportunity to create custom checkpoints based on an organization’s unique brand or regulatory guidelines. It then scans your website pre- or post-publication to flag any violations, making it possible to serve flawless digital experiences every time.

After you’ve perused the new Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management, we’d be happy to give you an overview of the industry’s players and how they differ from one another. We’d also be happy to speak with you about whether Crownpeak would be a good fit for your needs, once you’ve had a chance to familiarize yourself with the range of solutions available.
