Many companies are discovering the speed, flexibility and cost effectiveness of cloud content management systems in the drive to deliver improved web and mobile experiences to their global customers. Crownpeak Technology, provider of the enterprise’s only open cloud platform for Web Experience Management, experienced strong revenue growth in the 2014 fiscal year as a result of this trend.

Cloud content management and hosting allows enterprise marketers and digital agencies to launch new websites, portals, and web/mobile applications quickly and affordably, while reducing the burden on I.T. resources. Companies that have recently launched new and improved web experiences on the Crownpeak platform with the assistance of the company’s network of digital agency partners include:

Web content management systems delivered in the cloud can scale to support many simultaneous development projects and unify complex multi-site management. One existing Crownpeak customer that has expanded its deployment across multiple business units worldwide is BNY Mellon (http://www.bnymellon.com/) – now managing in the cloud the web properties of its divisions Dreyfus, Pershing LLC, BNY Mellon Investment Management and Standish Mellon. Other companies expanding their deployment of Crownpeak include ACE Group, American International Group and Zoetis.

Vendors with a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model measure their success by subscription renewals and customer retention level. For the two-year period 2013-2014, Crownpeak achieved 97 percent customer retention and 118 percent renewal rate. More than 35 customers renewed their subscriptions to the Crownpeak platform over the last six months alone – including Aflac, Bloomberg BNA, Eli Lilly, Kaiser Permanente, Men’s Wearhouse, MetLife and Prudential.

New customers who selected Crownpeak’s Web Experience Management solution during 2014 include Daihatsu, Jos. A. Bank and Mercury Insurance. Recent customer wins in the technology sector include cloud storage provider Cleversafe and cloud contact center provider Five9.

Overall, CrowpPeak’s revenue has grown 86 percent during the last three years (2012-2014), with recurring revenue growth alone up 130 percent for the same period driven by large enterprise customers.

“More digital marketers are discovering that cloud deployment holds the power to unify their multi-site management efforts in a fast, flexible, scalable way,” explains Crownpeak CEO Jim Howard. “Our new and existing customers support relevant, engaging web and mobile experiences delivered across the complete customer lifecycle. Our WEM solutions support delivery of brand-consistent front-ends for line of business applications and portals, which helps standardize content, look and login enterprise-wide. These organizations unify high-quality customer experiences on a centrally managed platform.”

According to Gartner, Crownpeak provides a “visionary” cloud alternative in the Web Content Management systems market, with the only true multi-tenant SaaS offering available. Crownpeak powers millions of digital experiences across thousands of global websites, optimized by the platform’s Web Experience Management (WEM) capabilities. WEM is the digital part of a larger trend to manage and improve customer experiences – both online and offline – with content and data personalized to their interests and behaviors.
