Crownpeak Technology, provider of the enterprise’s only open cloud platform for Web Experience Management, has announced continued strong and rapid growth over the past year.

Crownpeak’s client base has grown in the previous twelve months with large global enterprises selecting the company’s Web Experience Management platform to launch websites fast, affordably and without I.T. support. New customers include AFLAC, BNY/Mellon, Crown Castle International, Ideal Industries, MeadWestvaco, Meridian Health, National Grid, Sentara Healthcare, Oppenheimer & Co. and Zoetis. Web Experience Management (WEM) is the digital part of a larger trend to manage and improve customer experiences – both online and offline – with content and data personalized to their interests and behaviors.

Crownpeak has tripled its revenue in the last three years, as more digital marketers at enterprises and leading agencies worldwide have chosen its multi-tenant software-as-a-service (SaaS) as an alternative to hosted or on premise web content management systems. The company’s native SaaS solution powers digital experiences across thousands of global websites, optimized by the platform’s open integration with more than 60 best-of-breed marketing tools.

Crownpeak has also expanded its operations and executive management team, opening its first European office in London last October. Jim Yares recently joined the company as chief operating officer after senior management roles at both Alien Vault and HP Fortify. The company has also appointed founder Carl Sutter to chief product officer, Adrian Newby to chief technology officer, Patrick Desbrow to chief information officer, and Tom Hipp to vice president of worldwide sales.

“With this seasoned senior team now in place, Crownpeak is poised for record growth in 2014 and beyond,” explains Crownpeak CEO Jim Howard. “More large enterprises are discovering that delivering relevant, engaging digital customer experiences need not be expensive, hard to integrate and impossible to manage. Crownpeak is able to help these marketing organizations remain agile, self reliant and free from complexity. Like us, they prefer to remain fiercely independent as they confront the challenges that will define the future of Web Experience Management.”

Together with revenue and customer growth, Crownpeak has expanded the partner network, responsible for implementation of the platform significantly.  New partners include Accenture, SagePath, Epsilon, Allegient, EPAM, Bader Ruter, TCS (formerly Tata), and GSW/Inventive Health.

Crownpeak is simply the most open and interoperable WEM platform on the market today. It makes its open API available for seamless integration with virtually any marketing content or data source. The platform features pre-built connectors to Box, Demandbase, Eloqua, ExactTarget, Google Analytics, Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics, Sharepoint, Silverpop, Salesforce, WebSphere and more.

Enterprises that select Crownpeak recognize the need to balance the greater speed, freedom and agility that marketers want with the security, scalability and compliance controls that I.T. demands. With built-in governance, risk and compliance workflow support and security certifications such as SSAE 16 Type II, the platform is ideal for digital marketers in highly regulated industries such as financial services, life sciences and energy.
