What We Want From Our WCM

The right way to buy WCM is to look at what you want to get out of it. Here’s one description I saw recently in a client meeting and thought was very well phrased:

“Our objective with WCM is to effectively present the brand and be agile, cross-channel, data-focused, and always improving and innovating. The solution must operate globally very securely and reliably, and comply with our industry regulations, while integrating easily with adjacent and internal products and functions. We also want to give enough value to our regional/divisional teams that they will not just use the central platform, but will use it to create highly successful digital marketing campaigns. And we must to do all of this cost-effectively in a rapidly changing 24/7 business environment.”
