CROWNPEAK TECHNOLOGY NAMES SENIOR INTERNET MARKETING PRO ROB ROSE VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND MARKETING MARINA
DEL REY, Calif. (May 13, 2002) – CrownPeak Technology, the premier content
management ASP, today announced the appointment of e-business sales and marketing
veteran Rob Rose as vice president, sales and marketing. The appointment is
effective immediately.
Rose joins
CrownPeak from Ignited Minds, where he was vice president of strategic planning,
managing the agency’s strategic direction, business development and new service
offerings, and contributing to development of the firm’s creative, results-oriented
Internet strategies.
Prior
to Ignited Minds, Rose served as associate partner with Web consulting firm
USWeb/CKS and then as director with its successor organization marchFIRST, helping
clients such as Toyota and Amgen develop Internet infrastructure programs.
Rose led sales and business development for marchFIRST throughout Southern California.
He also served as executive director of entertainment and media, directing Internet
strategy for Warner Bros. Home Video, Nickelodeon Television and 20th Century
Fox.
Previously,
Rose was director of client services at 1492 Technologies, where he handled
Web site strategy, development and integration for former Vice President Al
Gore, the U.S. Congress, CompuServe, Tellabs, the Cable Television Association
and Nostalgia Television (now known as Good Life TV). Rose also worked at
Nostalgia Television as a senior manager of research and marketing. He began
his career at Showtime Networks in marketing and affiliate relations.

Rose is
president and board member of the Los Angeles chapter of the Association of
Internet Professionals and is a member of the American Marketing Association.
He earned both a BA in English literature from the University of Dallas and
studied radio, television and film at North Texas State University.
