CROWNPEAK NAMED AS A FINALIST IN 2004 CODIE AWARDS For Second Consecutive Year, CrownPeak is Recognized In ‘Best Content Management Solution’ Category.
MARINA DEL REY, Calif. (January 6, 2004) -- CrownPeak Technology, the
software service innovator in content management, announced today it has been
named as a finalist in the 19th annual Codie Awards, sponsored by the Software
& Information Industry Association (SIIA). For the second year running,
CrownPeak is a finalist in the Best Content Management Solution category.
The 2004 Codie Awards showcase the software and digital content industry's
finest products and services and honor excellence for corporate achievement and
philanthropic efforts.
"In light of the intense competition this year, to be
named a Codie Awards finalist is a tremendous honor and an important
achievement. SIIA is proud to recognize these companies as true leaders in
their fields," said Ken Wasch, SIIA President.
The Codie Awards provide the
only peer-recognition program in the software and information industry, a unique
venue where companies compete for the praise of their competitors. The
2004 Codie Awards will be presented at a black-tie gala on Tuesday, May 18 at
the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
“As a peer recognition program, the Codies
truly are the software industry’s Oscars®, and there simply is no higher honor
in our business,” said Jim Howard, CEO, CrownPeak Technology. “We’re
especially pleased to be recognized for the second consecutive year, and to
again be picked ahead of more than 30 other products, including many that have
been on the market far longer than ours has.
“It’s a real tribute to
our development and interface teams, and their dedication to creating what we
feel is the most usable product interface on the market and the most
comprehensive system available today,” Howard said. “We’ve pioneered
quick, risk-free CMS deployment, without any compromise in features or
flexibility. Add to this the inherent advantages of the
software-as-a-service model, and it’s understandable how we’ve has risen to be
one of the top firms in the space in only our fourth year of operation. Our
Advantage CMS solution is implemented four to ten times faster than typical
packaged solution deployment, at roughly a fifth of the cost,” Howard
noted.
“Advantage CMS remains the first CMS that enables businesses to
deploy an enterprise-class CMS rapidly and affordably, and that’s why we’ve
helped transform the content management market. We’ve put tremendous
pressure on the established players, and are continuing to move the bar
higher. Nobody can touch us from a price, usability, and reliability
standpoint.”
