CrownPeak CMS is the only hosted content management service to have a
complete API and system development environment. Customers now have complete
control over their CMS implementation. Using the same web interface, your
administrative users and developers can now manage your templates and system
configurations, including the ability to work on template redesigns while still
using the CMS.
There are three conceptual levels of users for the developer toolkit:
Business user (changes to template look and feel, images, etc.),
Administrator (new template, changes to site structure, new output template
for second language or other devices, etc.), and
Developer (building a new CMS, implementation and major extensions,
connecting to other applications, etc.).
The reason we call these "conceptual" levels is that there is common functional ground
between them. As with every part of the system, there are very granular
hierarchical permissions system with CrownPeak CMS allows you customize
these roles to fit your organization's needs.
