Create a portal by searching tens, hundreds, or even thousands of other sites.  Create custom directories, and sell advertising, keywords, etc.   CrownPeak has the engine and our publishing customers have the content expertise to create unique & valuable Vertical Search Portals.

Web Site Hosting
CrownPeak provides Web Hosting from Tier 1 data centers, and the service comes completely managed and completely supported.  We provide 5 levels of web hosting, ranging from basic shared site hosting to highly redundant, highly managed options. 

Multi-site Publishing
Launch new sites quickly and efficiently. CrownPeak’s expertise in enabling new sites to be created and managed quickly, reliably, and economically has enabled rapid online expansion for CrownPeak’s publishing customers.   

Cross-Site Search
Many CrownPeak customers have multiple sites and use CrownPeak Search to enable unified search across those properties, with specialty segments and results determined from a common interface.   This capability often dramatically expands the advertising revenue for individual online publications.

Keyword Sales
Enabling specific content to appear from a specific keyword search provides CrownPeak customers the ability to sell keywords.  The interface allows CrownPeak customers to associate ad campaigns, Google ads, or custom “chunks” of HTML, or XML directly into the search results.

Related Content Engine
Because the CrownPeak systems “read” all of the content in a site, links from any page on a site to other pages with related content can automatically be inserted.  This is a great feature for sites that tend to have “hidden” content, or pages that are never visited.  In essence, this feature expands a site’s content visibility, and will tend to increase advertising revenue. 

Image Management
Embedded Image management is standard in the CrownPeak CMS and workflow engine.  Auto-resizing, thumbnail directories, and the ability to lay-out images within HTML pages are all fully integrated features.  Images can be managed from a central repository, where they are all viewable by thumbnail, category, and/or version.

Content Syndication
Capture content from one site and embed it in another.  Embed external directories or content feeds – or build them into the workflow system for editors to publish selected elements from a feed.  Create a new content feed and push it to a partner in any of a dozen formats, including XML, RSS, and so on.

RSS Management
Create automated RSS feeds of new site content, section content, or build RSS content selection into editorial workflow.
