Jim Howard CEO
As CEO, Jim is focused on advancing CrownPeak's
leadership in the software-as-a-service market. Under Jim’s leadership since its
founding in 2001, CrownPeak has become the market leading company in on-demand
web site management software. In the past seven years, CrownPeak has experienced
explosive growth, with over 90% year-over-year revenue growth and 97% customer
retention. Among the companies in the CrownPeak client roster today
are Staples, 3M, Home Depot, Crain Publishing, Miller Brewing, Hyundai Motors
and the State of Virginia. CrownPeak has been named as one of the 100 most
influential companies in Online Content by Econtent Magazine, one of the top 25
ASPs in the world by ASPNews, and was chosen as an SIIA Codie Award finalist for
Best Content Management Solution three years in a row. Jim was named by CMSWatch
as one of the 20 People to Watch in Content Management.
Jim’s
professional background combines extensive startup experience with years of
software development and professional services delivery and management. He has
spent the past eleven years working with web content management and search
technologies. Jim previously held senior executive positions in professional
services management, sales, and operational management with companies such as
USWeb, MarchFIRST, and successful startup, W3-design.
Sean Lally Vice
President, Information Technology An expert in
computer security and networking, Sean is charged with supervising all of
CrownPeak's IT systems and security staff, and has responsibility for all
application and network monitoring. Prior to joining CrownPeak, Sean managed
high-availability,
highly secure hosting and database operations for
clients such as Paramount Pictures, Virgin Records, Kaiser Permanente, Wyle
Electronics and Amgen. Sean also worked for Activision
and Disney Interactive, where he planned and rolled
out the first
Activision web presence including its infrastructure, and setup the
Activision presence on MSN for support of products. Sean
also served in the US Air
Force, is a Gulf War veteran, and
holds Secret and PRP clearances.
Robert Rose Vice
President, Marketing & Product Strategy Veteran internet executive, Robert
Rose has been providing strategic marketing and
technology
related consulting for web startups since
1994. Robert joined CrownPeak in 2002 to drive the
company's marketing efforts. In addition to managing
all strategic
marketing and corporate communication efforts
for CrownPeak, Robert is responsible for developing the strategy
for current and new product development.
Prior to CrownPeak,
Rose served as Vice President, Strategic Planning for
Ignited Minds
(now Ignited), an advertising agency specializing in the entertainment and
consumer electronics sectors. There, he directed the company's
business
development efforts, new service offerings and contributed to
the firm's
creative, results-oriented internet
strategies. From 1997-2000, he was an
Associate
Partner with USWebCKS, working as Executive Director of the
Entertainment & Media Practice. He
has served on the board of the SIIA's Software Division from
2003 to
2006, and was one of the founding members of the SIIA Executive Council on
Software as a Service. He is a frequent speaker at internet
related
conferences, and writes a monthly
byline for the online marketing publication
iMedia
Connection.
Chris Staskus Vice President,
Sales With more than 20
years of experience managing and
selling enterprise software, Chris brings to
CrownPeak extensive
solutions-selling expertise and a proven track record of
building and
managing successful sales organizations. Mr. Staskus was most
recently
Vice President of Sales for Vendavo, a private enterprise software
company which has grown its sales over 100% for the past 2 years. Prior
to
Vendavo, Chris held Sales Management positions with Clarify, Sybase
and Digital
Equipment Corp.
Chris holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in
Marketing and Finance from Chico State
University.
Carl
Sutter CTO As CTO, Carl is
responsible for the strategic direction and management of all
technology
development for CrownPeak. Carl's responsibilities
include
management of the engineering and software Q/A team,
planning and executing new product
development and serving as a thought
leader for CrownPeak solutions.
Previous to CrownPeak, Carl was a
Partner at USWeb/CKS, where he led technical
services for Global 3000
companies including Times Mirror, Paramount Pictures,
CCH, Amgen, and
NBC.com. Carl was also the senior programmer analyst at
the
University of Southern California Center for Scholarly Technology, where he
helped establish some of the first ever online library initiatives.
While at
USC, he also developed ground-breaking Web systems including
the Mercury
Project, the USC TommyCam, and the Robotic Telegarden,
which enabled users to
manipulate the real world via a Web interface.
Sutter holds an undergraduate
degree in Electrical Engineering from
Cornell University, and a master's degree
in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Southern California.
Mark Zoeckler Vice President,
Professional Services Mark serves
as Vice President, Professional Services for
CrownPeak and oversees
CrownPeak's teams of implementation and consulting
professionals which
serve CrownPeak’s diverse client base. In addition to
growing
this organization and the consulting services offered to our clients,
Mark will actively participate with the executive team in driving the
strategic direction of CrownPeak. Prior to
joining CrownPeak, Mark was Vice President,
Knowledge &
Technology for Morgan Samuels Company, a national top 20
retained
executive search firm. Before he was recruited into Morgan Samuels, Mark was a
knowledge and content management
leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers, responsible for global
knowledge
management strategy and implementation for the largest business unit
at
PwC. His professional career also includes approximately 10 years of
business and technology consulting to a variety of corporate clients.
Mark is a graduate of Pomona College, with a special
concentration in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He has
frequently
spoken at international conferences and written on the
subjects of knowledge and
content management, as well as innovation and
change management.
