CrownPeak has teamed with Hyundai Motor America to provide an enterprise-level web content management system to enable Hyundai’s distributed teams to update and manage content quickly and seamlessly.  Further, the Hyundai IT group will be implementing a series of new projects using Advantage CMS™, via CrownPeak’s award-winning software developer’s environment and application programming interface.

Hyundai Motor America, headquartered in Fountain Valley, Calif., is a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company of Korea. Hyundai cars and sport utility vehicles are distributed throughout the United States by Hyundai Motor America and are sold and serviced by more than 600 Hyundai dealerships nationwide.   Hyundai is the fifth-largest automobile importer in the United States.  346,235 Hyundai cars and sport utility vehicles were sold in the United States in 2001, accounting for a 42% increase in sales over 2000 – the largest increase in the automotive industry.

Challenge 
With a number of sites and the need to publish to multiple languages and a complex set of applications running on the web site, Hyundai requires a CMS that will not only be able to support sophisticated workflow, content syndication and multi-lingual capabilities - but a system that will be nimble enough facilitate the changes that will come in the future quickly and efficiently.
